Our founder, Shivani Dhillon, was honoured in Mumbai with the Inclusion Ke Sitaare – Special Mention Award, presented by Jai Vakeel Foundation and powered by Arth by Emcure. The award was given by none other than the champion of inclusion in Bollywood- Aamir Khan. The recognition celebrates individuals and organisations striving to create lasting, meaningful change in the field of intellectual disability and neurodiversity, and it affirms the path Smiling Dandelion Foundation continues to walk alongside its community. The selection was made by a distinguished jury chaired by Hon’ble Dr. Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, along with Kanchan Pamnani, Shilpi Kapoor, Arman Ali, and R.S. Prasanna, lending the honour both credibility and encouragement for the journey that lies ahead.

Shivani Dhillon was awarded the Social Impact Award by University of Westminster for her work in the social sector. She was recognized for founding the Down Syndrome Support Group India and creating Samvid-Stories & Beyond, a therapeutic storytelling initiative for children with cognitive and physical challenges.
